Twinless

Do you like the 1988 classic Twins? ...well, this film is probably not for you. Spawned from the darkly comedic mind of writer/producer/director James Sweeney. Twinless follows Dennis, also played by Sweeney, who is suffering from a loss, meets Roman (Dylan O’Brien) at a twinless twin support group, and subsequently sparks a connection. But it seems that there is more than just fate at play in their meeting. The film is paradoxical, in that it will accost you with uncomfortable encounters between and with its stars, which carry with them a sense of profound verisimilitude, yet it is because of this effect that you will be unable to look away and not let out an inappropriate chuckle. As a twin myself, this film gets my approval.
