Sentimental Value
Review:
If you’re a Sten Egil Dahl fan like me, you’ll enjoy spotting the subtle Easter egg hidden in Joachim Trier’s latest film set in Oslo. The story follows Gustav Borg, a filmmaker struggling with his artistic legacy as he considers casting his daughter, Nora, in his next project. What emerges is a layered family saga that looks at identity, memory, and the way we carry parts of everyone we love within us. Beautifully shot and emotionally resonant, it’s a film that will shine on WSC’s big screen.
