Die My Love
|
We Need To Talk About Kevin director Lynne Ramsay is back with another complicated psychological drama about motherhood. Young mother Grace has just moved into a house in the Montana countryside with her husband Jackson; alone for days on end taking care of their child while Jackson works, Grace starts to spiral further and further. Beautifully shot, with probably my favourite sound design of any film of 2025, this is a difficult, tense film that will have you on your toes for its entire runtime. Jennifer Lawrence is an absolute powerhouse, delivering one of the best performances of the year as she brings us into the mind of a woman on the edge. It won't be for everyone, but if you were a fan of Kevin last term, this is a film absolutely not to be missed.
