Review:

Based on the 2019 Colleen Hoover novel of the same name, Regretting You is one of many new releases on our schedule this autumn. If the story is the same as the book, the narrative follows a mother and daughter after the loss of a husband and father. With themes of betrayal, self-discovery, and romance, is this film just coasting off of the It Ends With Us discourse? After all, there is no such thing as bad publicity. This is a judgement we can make together, as there is no better way to watch a movie than surrounded by like-minded-movie-goers in a humble cinema. Big names such as Mason Thames (How to Train Your Dragon), Mckenna Grace (Gifted), and Dave Franco (Now You See Me) certainly make this movie seem promising.
