Review:

Theo and Ivy’s idealised, picture-perfect family life all comes tumbling down after Theo’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) professional life begins to crumble, meanwhile Ivy’s (Olivia Colman) blossoms.The Roses, from the writer of Poor Things, is a spin on The War of the Roses (1989), and also features Andy Samberg, Ncuti Gatwa, and Kate McKinnon. This rage-filled family rivalry is one I’m most looking forward to on the schedule. Expect lots of laughs along the way (it’s Olivia Colman after all, come on), a domestic feud, and sit back to watch the chaos unfold right before your eyes.
