Sorry, Baby
|
Review:
Sorry, Baby is already shaping up to be one of the best of the year so far, and one of the films on the schedule I’m looking forward to the most. Writer/director Eva Victor also stars as Agnes, a college professor trying to carry on with her life after a traumatic event, alongside her cat and her best friend Lydie. Although deeply emotional and heartrending at times, Sorry, Baby never loses its sense of humour. It’s a tough balance to strike, but Victor pulls it off perfectly in an impressive first feature. Also, did I mention the cat?
