When 17 school children from the same classroom mysteriously disappear overnight, suspicion turns to their teacher, but what’s really going on here? And who, or what, is behind the eerie disappearances? After the critical and commercial success of Barbarian, hopes are high for writer director Zach Cregger’s new project and with a cast composed of Josh Brolin, Julia Garner and Benedict Wong, I’m sure we’ll be in for a treat with their performances. The film’s marketing strategy has already garnered some attention; the missing persons website with creepy CCTV clips establishes the world of the film and hypes up the mystery element of Weapons.
