Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning

For me, the previous entry in the Mission: Impossible series, Dead Reckoning, is not only the greatest film in the franchise yet, and also not only one of the greatest action films ever made, but one of the greatest films ever made full stop! Hence, my excitement for this is through the roof, and it is one of my two most anticipated films of 2025. Tom Cruise returns once more as Ethan Hunt to take down the Entity, the AI overlord from the previous film capable of manipulating the concept of truth as we know it. As ever, you can expect insane stunts (Cruise hanging off a biplane without wires!!! Cruise diving through a sunken submarine!!! CRUISE RUNNING!!!) and our favourite M:I crew with some new allies in Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff and Greg Tarzan Davis. There is much speculation that this is the final film in the series, meaning Ethan and his beloved crew are all at risk. Will Ethan make it? Or will he have to sacrifice it all to save the world one last time? This is going to be an unparalleled action epic for the ages, I could not be more excited to see it.
