The People's Joker
Come see how she got these (emotional) scars.

Despite its long struggle to find theatrical distribution, Vera Drew’s superhero parody has finally made its way to UK screens. A delightfully anarchic comedy, The People’s Joker follows an aspiring clown as she comes to terms with her gender identity, forms an “anti-comedy” troupe in a Gotham City where (unapproved) comedy is illegal, and comes into contact with characters from across the Batman universe, including Batman himself. Claims of copyright infringement aside, The People’s Joker is a unique look at themes of gender identity and self discovery, and almost certainly unlike anything else you’ll see this year – don’t miss it!
